Winnipeg West Rotarians have been ringing the Bell for the Salvation Army kettles for over 20 years!

We no longer actually ring a bell says long time Rotarian Alan Goddard. He thought that our constant ringing of the bell drove the Sears employees crazy.

Sears is long gone now but the need in the community is greater than ever.  Alan recalls when our club had a membership of over 100 we would actually work 2 kettles, one at either end of the mall. We used to have an arrangement with the Cholakis family that we stored our winter garments with the Broadway florist location at the south end of the mall.

Our club members and their families volunteer at a kettle in the Polo Park mall, raising funds to Support the Salvation Army and all of the good work that they do in the community.
